The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Circular area (42m N-S; 40.2m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 2.1m) ENE->ESE, and defined by scarped edge (H 1.9m; Wth 2m) ESE->ENE, with an external fosse (D 1.3m; Wth 2.3m) around full circumference. A field boundary runs along outer line of fosse SW->SSE. Interior level, dry and clear of overgrowth.
