The National Monuments Service's description
In marshy pasture, on slight S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 35m) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.8m) SSW->NE and defined by a scarped edge (H 0.8m; Wth 2.2m) NE->SSW, with an external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 2.4m) around full perimeter. Entrance (Wth 2.2m) at NNW, also numerous small gaps in bank and scarped edge. Interior level, dry and clear of overgrowth.
