The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture. Circular area (39.2m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 1.05m; Wth 1.6m) with external fosse (Wth 3.2m) and counterscarp bank (int. H 1.7m; ext. H 1.05m). Entrance at SE (Wth 2m). Fosse is incorporated into field drainage system on W side. Field boundary skirts site on W side. Centre of level interior is under rough grazing but most of perimeter and enclosing element are overgrown with bushes and briars.
