The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed grassland with well immediately to S and N of a forestry plantation, 75m E of the townland boundary with Oldtown. Enclosure (LI033-085----) lies 200m to E. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 112; AP 5/2045) as an enclosure. Visible as circular-shaped area (diam. c. 27m) defined by a fosse with causewayed gap at N clearly visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Cropmark of levelled enclosure visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020. The enclosure appears to have been located inside a small levelled field defined by a fosse (dims. c. 46m NE-SW; 34m NW-SE) that is clearly visible to the N.
