The National Monuments Service's description

Possible burial mound which is one of 12 monuments forming an archaeological complex located in three fields and described by O'Kelly (1944, 17) as following; 'All these monuments are situated in a low-land marsh meadow, the entire complex covering three fields. In one field are 8 of the barrows and the two platforms. In the nearest corner of the next field to the east is the tumulus, and the 9th barrow is in the nearest corner of the next field to the north. The Tumulus is a circular earthen mound with a maximum height of about 6' [1.8m] at the S. side. It has a visible fosse on the E. and S. sides only, a feature which seems to be due to the fact that the field rises away from the monument on these sides. This fosse is very wide and it is likely that all the material for the mound came from it. The overall diam. varies between 60' [18.3m] and 66' [20m]. Could be a duplicate entry with LI033-029011-/012-'.
