The National Monuments Service's description
In flat pasture 550 E of summit of Kilteely Hill (OD 580 ft.) and 100m S of townland boundary with Ballyvouden. Enclosure (LI033-012----) 160m to W. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised roughly circular-shaped area (dims. 27m NW-SE; 23m NE-SW) with a well to immediate NE.
Surveyed by the ASI in 2007 and described as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 18m) enclosed by a low earthen bank (Wth 5.35m; H 0.2m; ext. H 0.35m) from SSE-SW reduced to a scarp elsewhere and outer fosse (Wth 4.05m; base Wth 0.7m; D 0.35m) with gap (Wth 5.75m) at W which may be a modern feature. Raised area (LI033-153----) visible off centre in NW quadrant of interior, may be of archaeological significance. Monument intersected at W by a linear bank running NNW-SSW. The monument is clearly visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018.
