The National Monuments Service's description
Described by O'Kelly (1944, 17) as following; 'A circular platform on the edge of which there is a bank. The entrance is on the N.E. side where the fosse is causewayed. Maximum height of bank, 3' 6" [1m], overall diameter, 150' [45m]. Situated in low-land marshy ground'.
