The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on S facing slope of Knockroe Hill at the NE tip of Lough Gur, which lies 690m to W. Stone circle (LI032-060----) lies 12m to W and structure (LI032-322----) 15m to SW. Not depicted on any OSi maps. Identified by Geophysical survey (fluxgate gradiometer survey) in 2008 as Feature 6 in Area 2 and described by Cleary (2008, 42) as follows; 'Two other significant anomalies occur a short distance to the northeast of Circle P [LI032-059----]. The larger of the two registers as a circular area of negative magnetic gradient, approximately 13m in diameter, surrounded on the north by a discontinuous band of enhanced magnetic responses. The magnetic signature of this feature suggests that it may represent the remains of a destroyed mound, which was perhaps similar in size and form to that at Circle P [LI032-059----]’. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 or on Google Earth orthoimages.
