The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, 255m NE of a townland boundary with Correenfeeradda. Monument is situated between two cashels (LI032-135001/136----) which lie 25m to S and 45m to N, respectively. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Shown on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map as an area of rock outcrop. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 253: AP 5/2073) as a rectilinear-shaped enclosure which is open to S. A subrectilinear-shaped area (42m E-W; 25m N-S) defined by a bank is partially obscured by intermittent scrub, as seen on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage 25/03/2017.
