The National Monuments Service's description
In rough wet pasture, 155m E of a watercourse which also marks a townland boundary with Ballynamona. Enclosure (LI032-271001-) and earthwork (LI032-271003-) lie 120m to WSW and 55m to S. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 235: AP 5/2018) as a circular-shaped earthwork. Upstanding monument is visible as a circular-shaped earthwork (diam. 12m) defined by a fosse, as best seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, although is not clearly visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage 20/09/2020.
