The National Monuments Service's description
In improved wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 105m E of a townland boundary with Ballyloundash, which also marks a main watercourse. A complex of contiguous barrows (LI032-289/290/291/292/293----) lie 280m to S. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 191: AP 4/3609) as a square-shaped cropmark. Upstanding monument is visible as a square-shaped earthwork (L 10m) enclosed by a bank (approx. Wth 3.5m) and an external fosse (approx. Wth 3.5m), as seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
