The National Monuments Service's description
On low lying wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, 470m SW of a townland boundary with Milltown. Enclosure (LI032-284----) lies 10m to SW and enclosure (LI032-243----) lies 162m to NE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 160.01: AP 4/3633) as a semi-circular-shaped cropmark which is cut by a field boundary and land drain running NW-SE across the SW edge. Monument visible as a suboval-shaped earthwork (35m NW-SE; 29m NE-SW) defined by a broad fosse (Wth 7m) and truncated by a field boundary running NW-SE across the SW edge, as seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, Digital Globe orthoimage 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage 25/03/2017.
