The National Monuments Service's description
In improved wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses, on the floodplain of the Camoge River 182m to the E which forms the townland boundary with Kilcullane. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 181: AP 4/3607) as a large rectilinear-shaped cropmark in a long, narrow field. Monument is visible as a rectangular-shaped earthwork (37m ENE-WSW; 35m NNW-SSE) defined by traces of a possible fosse, best seen to N and S, on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/03/2018.
