The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, 140m SW of a townland boundary with Patrickswell. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 208.01 & 208.02: AP 5/2011) as a roughly oval-shaped cropmark within the centre of a rectilinear-shaped cropmark, which is open to SSW. Monument is visible as a roughly oval-shaped cropmark (35m NW-SE; 28m NE-SW) within the centre of a rectilinear-shaped cropmark (60m WNW-ESE; 56m NNE-SSW) on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/09/2020. The SW area of the rectilinear-shaped cropmark is occupied by the corner of a modern house plot and a small field, of which the NE boundary running NW-SE, bisects the central oval-shaped cropmark.
