The National Monuments Service's description
In improved rough, wet pasture, abutting a watercourse to N and 35m to ENE of another watercourse which also marks a townland boundary with Raheen. The settlement of Grange Upper lies 225m to E and Lough Gur lies 1.15km to ESE. Earthworks (LI032-182001-/325----) lie 50m to WSW and 110m to W, respectively and enclosure (LI031-081----) lies 135m to WNW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified as an earthwork by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 166: AP 4/3601). Monument is not visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, or on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage taken 20/09/2020.
