The National Monuments Service's description

Westropp (1906-7, 185) mistakenly identified this as a castle possibly associated with Hospital Castle, the name Castelfarm probably relates to the castle depicted on the Down Survey Ballinamona parish map (NLI, MS 718) as Ballinamona Beg Castle (LI032-166----). This is a duplicate castle entry with Ballinamona Beg Castle.
