The National Monuments Service's description

Enclosure described in 1943 as following; 'This is a circular earthen platform which does not seem to have a fosse. There is no bank on the platform or around it. Its maximum height is 6' [1.8m] and its overall diameter is 100' [30m]. it is situated in poor, wet low-land' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 179). The outline of the monument is visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs.
