The National Monuments Service's description

In flat wet pasture abutting the townland boundary with Drombeg on its NE side. A ringfort (LI031-089----) is located 200m to NE and Castle Ievers (LI031-088----) is 550m to SSW. Not depicted on historic OSi maps but is visible on both the OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and on the OSi Digital Globe orthophoto taken 2011-2013. Identified by ASI aerial photographic survey in 2005 (ASIAP (18/09/2020)) as a large sub-rectangular shaped enclosure (ext. dims. c. 120m ENE-WSW; 60m NNW-SSE). A relic field boundary orientated NNW-SSE depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map bisects the W quadrant of the large enclosure. The enclosure is visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 05/04/2006; 16/03/2016; 25/03/2017 and 14/02/2020. These images reveal a second ditched rectangular-shaped earthwork (ext. dims. 31m NNW-SSE; 39m ENE-WSW) or annexe on the NNE side of the monument located between the larger rectangular enclosure and the townland boundary, both enclosures are likely to form part of the same monument.
