The National Monuments Service's description
On flat wet pasture 145m SW of townland boundary with Ballycullane and Grange, 1.7km WNW of Lough Gur. The enclosure (LI031-176003-) is located within a ring-barrow cemetery (LI031-076001/2-; LI031-076004/8- and LI031-177001/2-). Not depicted on historic OSi maps. It is visible as an enclosure on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 38; AP 4/3644) as a sub-rectangular enclosure (ext. dims. 14.5m NE-SW; 17m NW-SE) abutting a curving drainage ditch on its NE side. The enclosure is visible on the Google Earth orthoimage taken 05/04/2006 but not on the latest Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
