The National Monuments Service's description

In wet pasture 150m S of Morningstar River that marks the townland boundary with Bruff. Earthwork (LI031-186) lies 120m to NE. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified from examination of aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000 No. 50) of the region taken 03/11/1984 associated with Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraghleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Visible as a circular cropmark on Google Earth orthoimage dated 05/04/2006 which looks more like the imprint of a ring-feeder rather than a prehistoric ring-ditch. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 or on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020. Doubtful antiquity.
