The National Monuments Service's description
In a clearance within a commercial forestry plantation 40m S of townland boundary with Rathmore and 320m N of Camoge River. Enclosure (LI031-128----) lies 200m to NW. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified as a circular enclosure from examination of aerial photograph (BGE 1:10,000 No. 37) of the region associated with the Bord Gáis Curraghliegh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Visible as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 40m) enclosed by a possible bank on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/02/2020.
