The National Monuments Service's description

Poorly preserved remains of a building annotated as a 'Church (in Ruins)' on the OS 6-inch map, standing at W end of small children's burial ground (LI031-050005-). Located on flat pasture 100m NW of Monasteranenagh Cistercian Abbey of St. Maria de Magio (LI031-050004-) and 35m S of the River Maigue. Described by Westropp (1904-5, 382) as 'a small building near the river'.
