The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture, 8m S of field drain, 430m N of townland boundary with Cahirguillamore and 50m E of possible cairn (LI031-045----). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible low cairn described in 1976 by the National Museum of Ireland (NMI Topographical Files) described as; ‘another spread slightly raised above field level. Third one referred to but not located.’ The monument is not visible on OSi orthoimages or Google Earth orthophotos. Field has been reclaimed and the likelihood is that the low cairn has been removed.
See attached location map and photo taken in 1976 by NMI taken from Topographical Files.
