The National Monuments Service's description
In former Deer Park, on the demesne lands of Cahir Guillamore House (LI031-041019-) located 375m to NE. Within NW quadrant of field system (LI031-041001-), a ring-barrow (LI031-014022-) lies 40m to SE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 42; AP4/3598) as a large rectangular-shaped enclosure. Outline of possible monument visible as a roughly rectangular-shaped enclosure (dims. 41m N-S x 29m E-W) the enclosing element of which is not visible at S on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Could be the remains of a small field of uncertain date. Outline of possible enclosure visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
