The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 235m SW of a townland boundary with Cloghnamanagh and 445m WNW of the Camoge River. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a pennanular-shaped earthwork which is open to W. Classified by O’Kelly (1944, 49) as Earthwork Type B and described as: ‘A platform on the edge of which there is a bank. It is surrounded by a fosse. The bank is very slight and the W side of the monument is almost obliterated. The overall diameter is 325’ (99m)’. Monument is visible as a subcircular-shaped earthwork (76m NW-SE; 74m NE-SW) best seen on aerial photograph (ASIAP 329, 9 & 10) taken 05/10/2002 and on OSi aerial orthoimage taken 2005-2012. Also visible on Digital Globe aerial orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
