The National Monuments Service's description
In clearing in coniferous forest, c. 20m S of forest road, on S-facing hill slope. Circular area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.55m). Both enclosing bank and interior, excepting holy well (LI030-09602-) in centre, covered by dense overgrown. Break in bank (Wth 1.2m) at NNW gives access to holy well. Earth from interior has been mounded up against outside N face of wall surrounding well.
