The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on N-facing hill slope. Roughly oval area (19m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by scarped edge with steeper profile on N side due to natural gradient of terrain (at N: H 2.55m; Wth 7m; at S: H 0.65m; Wth 1m). Scarp worn down by cattle at SE. Interior dips down slightly towards centre and is covered by rough grazing. Field boundary runs along base of scarp NW->E.
