Immediately outside fosse SE->NE is much-eroded field boundary, whilst immediately outside fosse NE->SE is avenue leading to dwelling to N. Interior, raised above level of surrounding terrain, slopes down gently towards centre where mature deciduous tree stands, otherwise interior covered with nettles.
