The National Monuments Service's description

On a gently sloping ridge in pasture with excellent views to the W, N and E, 750m NE of the townland boundary with Dollas. Ring-barrow (LI030-016----) located 140m to SW. The site is not depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map nor is it depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. It is annotated ‘stone’ on the Cassini ed. OSi 6-inch map. The site is visible as a small oval enclosure in pasture on the OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 (ext. dims. c. 16m N-S; 19m E-W); it is not visible on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Neither the stone nor enclosure is visible on the Google Earth orthoimages taken 05/02/2009; 31/12/2016 or 28/06/2018.
