The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle N-facing hill slope, immediately S of avenue leading to derelict farmhouse. Roughly circular area (30m N-S; 28.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.75m), with external fosse (D 0.8m; Wth 2.6m) WSW->ESE. Bank, best preserved NE->SE, lowers at SW for c. 6m. Fosse, best preserved W->NW, narrows along N arc where avenue clips outer edge. Interior, under pasture, slopes down gently to NW.
