The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture, immediately S of public road and W of avenue leading to dwelling. Roughly circular area (39.5m N-S; 37.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 1.05m) with external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 1.2m). Bank, heavily masked by vegetation overgrowth, has stones dumped along top at W. Waterlogged fosse narrows where avenue kinks around outer edge E->SSE. Causeway entrance (Wth 3.2m) at S. Level interior under pasture. Field boundary, on N-S axis, abuts outer edge of fosse at WSW and NW.
