The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on break in S-facing hill slope. Oval area (35.7m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank, with external fosse (D 0.2m; Wth 2.2m) SE->SW and WNW->NNW. Bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.4m), best preserved E->W, has been stone-faced externally. Breaks in bank at SE (Wth 1.5m) and SSW (Wth 2.4m). Level interior is covered with nettles. Dry-stone field boundary abuts external bank face at N.
