In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope and just below top of low rise. Monument, depicted on 1841 OS 6-inch map as embanked trapezoidal enclosure (c. 60m NW-SE; c. 50m SW-NE) and as trapezoidal field on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. According to local information, enclosure and surrounding field boundaries levelled in 1979, with enclosing bank on N side c. 2m high with an external fosse. Slight rise noted in area of site with scarp (H 0.55m) evident NNW->NE. Listed as a moated site by Barry (Barry 1981, 84; site no. 25)
