The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Circular area (c. 26m NNW-SSE) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with an intervening fosse (Wth 2.8m). Both inner bank (int. H c. 1m; ext. H 1.45m) and external bank (int. H 1.15m; ext. H 0.6m) are covered by dense overgrowth except SW->N where fosse is used as rubbish dump. Entrance (Wth 2.2m) through both banks at SSE. Interior level, waterlogged with covered with rough-pasture and irises. Field boundary abuts enclosure at SSE, on N side of entrance.
