The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on sharp S-facing slope. Circular area (26.8m N-S; 26.7m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.35m; ext. H 0.9m), which is covered by overgrowth N->S. Internal bank height highest along N arc. External fosse (Wth 3m; D 1.45m) evident SSW->W and WNW->ESE, and is generally covered by overgrowth. Interior used as rough grazing and slopes gently towards S. Mature deciduous trees grow on top of bank at NW and SSW.
