The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle SW-facing slope, and immediately NW of public road. Sub-rectangular area (29.2m NE-SW; 32m NW-SE) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.83m; ext. H 2.55m). Gaps in bank NE (Wth 3.2m) and at W (Wth 1.5m).
Trace of shallow external fosse (Wth 1.4m; D 0.28m) evident along SW side. Sharp dip at base of bank on SE side adjacent to road may also indicate fosse. Interior used for rough grazing and dips slightly at centre, which is marshy; earth and manure dumped into S half. Trees and bushes on bank and in S third of interior. Modern dwelling built c. 20m to SW.
