The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, atop low ridge. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m), has been partially destroyed. Remains consist of roughly circular area (diam. 60m ENE-WSW) defined by bank incorporated into field boundary system S->W, and elsewhere by remains of a bank which has been levelled and pushed outwards into rough heaps around perimeter. Passageway (Wth 3.4m) has been cut through S half of interior, on NNW-SSE axis. Interior area is covered by dump of uprooted trees.
