The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, at base of SW-facing slope. Circular area (26.6m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse. Bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.3m) has uniform low internal height but is highest externally along SW arc. Entrance (Wth 4m) with causeway across fosse at NE. Fosse (D 1.65m; Wth 2.4m) well defined all round. Level interior is under rough pasture which is poached by cattle. Bank and fosse covered with dense overgrowth in places. Stream flows around SW arc of ringfort, c. 8m outside fosse. There is a sportsfield immediately E of enclosure.
