The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (34m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with an intervening fosse. Inner bank evident NNE->NNW, highest along its W half (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 2.75m), but replaced by scarp NNW->NNE; at SSE is break in bank with causeway (Wth 3.4m) across fosse. Slight internal berm (max. Wth 5m; H 0.5m) evident at base of bank SW->NW, possibly due to slumping of bank material. Outer bank of earth-and-stone has an average external height of c. 0.85m but is highest WSW->NNW (int. H 2.2m; ext. H 1.1m), but has been levelled NNW->NNE. Fosse (Wth 3.25m base) covered by dense overgrowth around much of its perimeter. Level interior under pasture. Linear scarp (H 0.95m; long axis N-S) adjacent to outer bank at SW may be associated with removed field boundary.
