The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, atop hill. Circular area (diam. c. 35m) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (ext. H 3.3m) is completely covered by dense overgrowth as is all of interior. Fosse (Wth 2.6m) is surrounded by low outer bank (int. H 1.05m; ext. H 0.35m). Field boundary abuts site at NNE. A shallow linear depression (L 16m E-W) abuts outer bank at NNW. An active quarry is located 20m to W.
