The National Monuments Service's description
In level mountain pasture, adjacent to a coniferous plantation. Roughly circular area (diam. c. 40m) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks. Inner bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.75m) has break (Wth 4.4m) at SE which. Outer bank is heavily eroded (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.35m) and survives only in two sections either side of SE break. Interior marshy and thickly covered by rushes especially on E side.
