The National Monuments Service's description
The precise location of a medieval mill within the townland of Kilduff has not been identified. The 1654-56 Civil Survey of Limerick recorded that Sir Maurice Hurley of Knocklong an 'Irish Papist' was the owner of Kilduff with 'a castle [LI024-050----] in repaire and a mill thereunto belongeing' (Simington 1938, 43).
