The National Monuments Service's description
On a WNW-facing slope, in rough pasture, 130m NE of a townland boundary with Knocknacrohy. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Within S quadrant of enclosure (LI024-040----), abutting bank. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as a suboval-shaped area (6.5m N-S; 3.5m E-W) defined by a levelled bank (Wth 4.25m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m) from SSE-S, by a counterscarp (Wth 2.75m; H 0.95m) from NE-E-SSE and from S-W-NW and by a low bank (Wth 4.05m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.35m) from NW-NE. The interior is grass covered. A rectangular-shaped depression (overall 5.9m NNW–SSE; 9.5m ENE–WSW) is situated to the immediate N and may be associated. Monument is visible as a roughly oval-shaped cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage taken 25/03/2017.
