The National Monuments Service's description
On undulating pasture 90m ESE from the townland boundary with Cloghaderreen. One of three barrows (LI024-199001/2-) outlying a ring-barrow cemetery (LI024-219/220----; LI024-325/-332----) 300m to W. The ring-barrow is not depicted on historic OSi maps, but is visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 or on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 11; AP 4/3626) as a circular ring-barrow (ext. diam. c. 10m), some doubt was expressed on the veracity of the image identifying the site on a copy of the aerial labelled ‘not clear’. The ring-barrow, however is also visible on the most recent Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
See attached Bruff survey image showing the site labelled Bruff 11 and Google Earth orthoimage
