The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle WNW-facing slope, in the foothills of Knockseefin, on reclaimed pasture, 70m NW of the townland boundary with Gortnanuv. A spring rises 10m to NE. Enclosures (LI024-143003-/004/002-) lie 25m to W, 70m to SW and 145m to W, respectively. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 66: AP 4/3681) as an oval-shaped earthwork in the N corner of a field. Monument is visible as an oval-shaped earthwork (approx. dims. 31m NW-SE; 25m NE-SW) on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 25/03/2017.
