The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle NW-facing slope, in reclaimed pasture. A standing stone (LI024-296----) lies approximately on the E edge of the monument. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 98: AP 4/3677) as a substantial D-shaped cropmark, defined to W by a linear field boundary. Monument is visible as a faint suboval-shaped dark green cropmark (approx. dims. 57m N-S; 49m E-W) on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
