The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight knoll, in improved pasture. A possible enclosure (LI024-132----) lies 130m to NW. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OS 6-inch map as a rock outcrop defined by the townland boundary with Coolnapisha from NW-N-E-S. Monument identified as a penannular-shaped tree-lined earthwork, open to WSW, by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 117: AP 4/3724). Monument is visible as an inverted C-shaped area (approx. dims. 41m NE-SW; 37m NW-SE), open to WSW, on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
