The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture, on the floodplain of the Dead River 190m to N and its confluence with the Mulkear River 210m to NW. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 133: AP 4/3730) as a substantial oval-shaped cropmark which is cut by a drainage channel running WNW-ESE across the NE sector. Monument is visible as an oval-shaped earthwork (approx. dims. 80m NW-SE x 76m NE-SW) on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018.
