The National Monuments Service's description

In wet pasture with Reask River 65m to NE, which forms the townland boundary with Milltown. Surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as no surface remains visible of site listed by O'Dwyer (1958-61, 96-8). There is a slight rise in the field at this point with a gentle depression. A linear ridge (Wth 3m; H 0.2m) running NE-SW lies to W. Monument is not visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages taken 18/11/2018. The precise location of this monument is uncertain as two different locations are recorded for this same monument by Eoin Grogan in his thesis and by Michael O'Dwyer.

See attached sketch plan and cross-sections surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
