The National Monuments Service's description

On high ground, on steep NE-facing slope, in pasture, with excellent views from W-N-E to Derk Hill and Knockseefin. Surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as an oval-shaped area (22m N-S; 19m E-W) defined by a scarp (Wth 4.5m; H 2.2m) visible from W-N-E, where the interior has been raised to compensate for hillslope. The interior has a NE-facing slope and is grass covered. A hollow area (5.7m NW-SE; 4m NE-SW; D 0.5m) visible towards the centre and a second hollow (6m NW–SE; 6m NE–SW) lies 1.5m to NNE could be the remains of two small ditch-barrows. A curvilinear field boundary encloses the monument from SE-S-W-NW and a linear boundary running NW-SE intersects the site at NE. Monument is visible as a roughly oval-shaped tree-lined earthwork on ASI aerial photographs (ASIAP 353, 23) taken 05/01/2003. Monument visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018 and 18/11/2018.

See attached sketch plan and cross-sections surveyed and drawn by the ASI.
